Group Homes

The Group Home Program is designed to facilitate the transition of girls aged 18 years and above from an institutionalized life to the challenges of the real world. In this initiative, we extend assistance in the form of support for apartment rent and infrastructure for a duration of three years. The program brings together girls pursuing various degrees or engaged in different jobs, fostering a supportive community where they can collaborate, share experiences, and collectively develop essential soft and social skills.

The common living arrangement encourages mutual support, enabling the girls to navigate the intricacies of independent living as a team. Alongside practical support, participants in the program receive mentorship and counselling to instil in them a sense of responsibility and freedom. The goal is to empower them with the skills and confidence needed for success in various aspects of life.

Throughout the three-year duration, OC’s aim is to equip these young women to confront the challenges of the world independently. By combining tangible support with mentorship and counselling, we aspire to nurture self-reliance, resilience, and a strong sense of community. At the program’s conclusion, our hope is that these girls will emerge well-prepared to lead independent lives, armed with the capabilities and mindset necessary for personal and professional success.
